*** We are monitoring the UK Government’s guidance on the coronavirus, and currently the risk to individuals in the UK remains low. Therefore, we wish to reassure delegates that the RLUK Conference will be going ahead as planned on 16-18 March.
If any delegates are travelling in from areas of risk and develop symptoms of cough, fever or shortness of breath, we would ask that they do not attend the conference.***

The deadline for registration is 3 March 2020.
Speakers will be sent a promotional code. Before you select a ticket, click on ‘enter promo code’ at the top of the ticket listings page, enter the code and click apply. This will apply the relevant discount to tickets.
Please note that the speaker discount does not apply to the drinks reception or conference dinner.
Conferences that take place in the UK are liable for UK VAT as they are classified under VAT legislation as ‘services supplied where performed’ and therefore VAT of the country hosting the conference must be charged. Overseas delegates must pay the VAT charged on their invoice initially but can potentially reclaim this back from the UK VAT office.
For information on reclaiming VAT see HMRC Reference: Notice 723A (November 2010) “Refunds of VAT in the European Community for EC and non-EC businesses” which can be obtained from www.hmrc.gov.uk
To pay by invoice, select your ticket/s and click the ‘checkout’ button. On the next page, under the ‘payment’ category select ‘pay by invoice’ as the payment method.
Eventbrite will include an invoice in their confirmation e-mail. PLEASE DISCARD THIS INVOICE as RLUK will issue an invoice to you under separate cover.
Please note that if you are paying by invoice then the cancellation policy (see question 6 below) still applies.
In order to obtain a refund you must request a cancellation, by e-mail to Melanie.Cheung@rluk.ac.uk, by Friday 28 February. Unfortunately, any cancellation requests made after this date will not be refundable. No shows do not qualify as cancellations and no refunds will be made for no shows.
We have provided a list of nearby hotels at the bottom of this page.
RLUK is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of sex, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion (or lack thereof).

Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, the drinks reception, conference dinner, Twitter and other online media.
