Putting It All Together
The elements of the future research library are here, including digital platforms and data as well as new services for learning and research. But too often they exist as separate, unconnected entities, rather than presenting a coherent story about a new kind of library. How can we take these new elements and integrate them together into a unified whole that students, researchers, and the public can understand? How can each library leverage what it does best, while also taking advantage of its existence in a network to connect resources and services, synthesizing and projecting a more expansive library than the one we had before?
