2. How do I register for the conference?

Registration for the conference can be done online via Eventbrite

Please select all the tickets that you require – this may require you to select more than one ticket if you are selecting a day delegate ticket.

All Full Conference tickets include a place at the Conference Dinner. Accommodation is NOT included in any of the tickets.

If selecting more than one ticket you will be required to fill in information for all. Complete your details for the first ticket and then use the ‘copy data from’ dropdown option to automatically populate information on subsequent tickets.

The deadline for registration is 24 February 2017.

3. I am a speaker at the conference, how do I register?

Speakers will be sent a promotional code. Before you select a ticket, click on ‘enter promotional code’ at the top of the page. This will apply the relevant discount to tickets.

Please note that the speaker discount does not apply to the Conference Dinner.

4. I am a non-UK resident, do I still have to pay VAT?

Conferences that take place in the UK are liable for UK VAT as they are classified under VAT legislation as ‘services supplied where performed’ and therefore VAT of the country hosting the conference must be charged. Overseas delegates must pay the VAT charged on their invoice initially but can potentially reclaim this back from the UK VAT office.

For information on reclaiming VAT see HMRC Reference: Notice 723A (November 2010) “Refunds of VAT in the European Community for EC and non-EC businesses” which can be obtained from www.hmrc.gov.uk

5. How can I pay by invoice?

To pay by invoice, select your ticket/s and click the ‘checkout’ button. On the next page, under the ‘payment’ category select ‘pay by invoice’ as the payment method.

Eventbrite will include an invoice in their confirmation e-mail. PLEASE DISCARD THIS INVOICE as RLUK will issue an invoice to you under separate cover.

Please note that if you are paying by invoice then the cancellation policy (see question 6 below) still applies.

6. How can I cancel my conference ticket?

In order to obtain a refund you must request a cancellation, by e-mail to Melanie.Cheung@rluk.ac.uk, by Friday 24 February. Unfortunately, any cancellation requests made after this date will not be refundable.

8. Where can I find out about accommodation near the conference venue?

We have provided a list of nearby hotels at the bottom of this page.

9. Filming disclaimer

Please be advised that photography and filming will take place at this event. The footage will be used by RLUK in future promotional material and publications.

Attendance at the RLUK Conference constitutes the registrant’s automatic consent for RLUK  to photograph/film and use their image and likeness without further notification.
